As a fitter, you are a professional who independently performs pipe fitting work with an eye for detail and quality. You can read technical drawings and perform various common (de)assembly and pipe fitting work in all positions on different types of materials. You will work in a dynamic environment with plenty of room to develop yourself. You will be working with our clients in the Limburg region.
What are you going to do
- You check specifications of drawings on site and make changes to them if necessary;
- You will work according to job assignment, specifications, work instructions and procedures and prepare a limited final report;
- You report, after execution, the work in accordance with applicable procedures;
- You are responsible for safety, quality and compliance with legal rules and procedures and make adjustments as needed;
- You will take care of work site set-up and organization, planning and execution of fit and key work.
What do we expect from you
- A completed MBO training level 2, preferably in metalworking or mechanical engineering;
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferably within the (petro)chemical industry;
- You have experience reading Iso drawings and knowledge of materials including carbon steel and stainless steel;
- You preferably have a valid flange mechanic certificate and VCA Basic;
- A flexible attitude towards performing tasks, times and locations.
- You are willing to undergo additional training;
- You have a reasonable command of the Dutch language in word & writing;
- You hold a driving license and own transportation;
- You have none of the fear of heights;
