NBBU

The NBBU represents the interests of nearly 1500 temporary employment agencies, payroll companies, and other flex organizations. The NBBU ensures that its members are reliable, professionally operating companies that comply with legislation and regulations, however complex. NBBU members must have the SNA Quality Mark. This certification guarantees that agencies comply with the laws and regulations resulting from providing temporary workers. The NBBU has experienced strong growth from 360 members in 2006 to nearly 1,500 members now. This means the NBBU represents more than a quarter of the temporary employment industry.

NEN-4400-1

The NEN 4400-1 standard is the new quality mark for the temporary employment industry. This standard contains requirements for testing and evaluating a temporary employment agency; it examines whether an agency meets its labor obligations. Labor obligations in this standard refer to: the declaration and payment of wage tax, sales tax and social insurance premiums, the administration of identity documents, and additionally performing identity verification and checking the right to work in the Netherlands. The goal of the standard is to limit the risk of fines from the tax authorities, UWV, and other government agencies for clients. The NEN 4400-1 standard sets high requirements for temporary employment agencies and thereby limits risks for hirers. PayOk

The PayOK Foundation aims to test companies within the chain for compliance with the Bogus Schemes Act (WAS). Because the (main) client is responsible for compensation throughout the chain, PayOK's assessment provides good insight into the risks the main client faces. By requiring all companies in the chain to be PayOK certified, the risk of claims regarding incorrect payment in the chain is minimized.

PayOK has the following main focus points:

  • Limiting liability of (main) clients for all elements mentioned in the WAS, such as payment of the correct wage
  • Preventing high fines for (main) clients for working with people in the chain who are not authorized to work in the Netherlands, whose identity has not been established, or who have assumed a false identity
  • Management of PayOK standard
  • Management of a public register of certified companies and companies registered for certification
  • Periodic inspections by inspection bodies according to a uniform method
  • Promoting certification of companies so they can positively distinguish themselves from non-certified companies
  • Promoting use of the PayOK quality mark by (main) clients and other companies in the chain

Cooperation Organization Vocational Education Business

SBB recognizes and guides learning companies where students can find quality internships or apprenticeships. Ecabo makes agreements about what the student must know and be able to do to obtain a diploma or an MBO certificate for lifelong development. SBB advises the Minister of Education on aligning vocational education with the labor market.

VCA

VCA stands for Safety Checklist Contractors. This standard focuses on safer working and reducing the number of accidents. With the checklist, actually a versatile program, service companies are tested on their safety management system.

The VCA system (the so-called certification scheme) meets the requirements laid down in European standards. This simplifies international application and possible mutual recognition between European countries.

KIWA Declaration of Availability

Entrepreneurs who need a driver can turn to temporary employment agencies that provide drivers for professional goods transport. Only employment agencies designated by the Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management may do this. A driver then needs a 'declaration of availability.' The driver must be able to show this during inspections. The temporary employment agency provides this declaration.

VCU

The Safety Checklist Temporary Employment Organizations is intended for companies that send personnel to VCA-certified companies. High-risk work is carried out at these companies. These are often construction or maintenance work at construction sites, in factories, workshops, and at installations.

VSB

The Association of Scaffolding, Aerial Work and Concrete Formwork Companies celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Four decades in which safety and quality have consistently been central themes. It has ensured that the VSB is now seen as THE specialist and resource for working safely at height.

Started as the Association of Scaffolding Companies, the field of work quickly expanded to other disciplines and work equipment used at height. First with aerial work companies, later followed by concrete formwork companies. Today, the association consists of assembly companies, manufacturers, suppliers, and rental companies that supply the complete range of work equipment and products from three association sections. From steel scaffolding, rolling towers, ladders, stairs, lifting platforms, construction lifts, aerial work platforms, suspended scaffolds, concrete formwork, support structures, and facade maintenance installations.

VSB Warranty Regulation

At the initiative of VSB members, the development of the VSB Warranty Regulation began in 2000. On behalf of the VSB, FME Lawyers, in coordination with the Council of Arbitration for Construction and insurance experts, sought a procedure to give more substance to VSB membership.
